You know what hurts? Messages! I am all about the “why” so that we can move on and find a way to respond to the person who sent us that message. But the “how” is where the real problem lies. If you are offended, hurt, offended, upset, or even simply hurt – you still have to respond.
The message I was sent was not meant to be a “get a life” text – it should have ended with “I am sorry for what I said”. But because I am hurt, I will always be upset, which makes it difficult to respond. If I have to respond to a text message, I would rather just avoid the whole thing.
