Police are not always the most helpful people in your life. Sometimes they are downright terrifying, and other times they are downright helpful. In the case of the police investigation that I was the witness to, it was both. It’s always good to know what happened and what’s going on in the world. For my own peace of mind, I wanted to know what had happened and what the police official had to say about it.
In the case of the police investigation, the police official was the only person who actually seemed to think that what happened was actually real. The police official is also an amnesiac who appears to have woken up on a beach with no memory of why he’s on Deathloop’s party island, Blackreef. This is okay though because someone has left him vague messages in the sky about what to do.
What we think happened was that someone stole Colt’s car one night, and then someone used it to steal his gun. Colt then used the gun to shoot two people before being shot himself, and somehow came to believe that he was the head of security for the Visionaries.
This is why the police are so determined to find out who shot Colt. They think he’s the head of security for the visionaries, and they suspect that he murdered his own brother. Which is why the police are going to do everything in their power to find out who did it. The fact that he’s an amnesiac and that he’s been woken up by something in the sky is also a key element that makes all the police investigation in the trailer so much more intense.
Just like the “chapters” in the Deathloop trailer, the police investigation also looks very similar to a certain game we played last year. The police are trying to get to the bottom of a series of crimes in the same town. The town is full of amnesiacs and they’re all trying to solve crimes they don’t remember. The police do an incredible job of matching clues and suspects together to build a case.
The level of police work on display in this trailer is astounding. It’s very much like the police in the trailer for the Deathloop game. They are very much on the side of the amnesiacs, but they are also fighting for the sake of their own safety. It’s a very intense, intense, and intense trailer.
What I like about it is the different ways the police team handle suspects. Some of them (like the one that played himself) are very thorough. Their methods of questioning amnesiacs have an almost scientific approach, which helps them to build a case. Other cops (like the one who had some of the most badass powers in the trailer) are more instinctual. Their methods are more about giving the suspects a chance to explain themselves. I think they make a good team.
I think it’s a good idea to have more cops in the trailer to figure out how they got the information. I think they have something better to think about.
