I’m so glad that you’re here! You are so right. We all have such a short amount of time in the world. We all want and need to know what is going on so that we can avoid any potential mistakes or missteps. We all have the tendency to want to learn more, to ask questions and make decisions based on “facts” or “sophistication.
The problem is that we don’t all act this way. But there are some people that are highly self-aware who know that it’s okay to use their brains as a way to make quick moves. They always have. But other people (especially in the world of cybernetics) are just too stubborn, and they have a tendency to act like this.
This is so easy to understand. For one thing, if you don’t know what to do, you have nobody to blame but yourself. So to say that you’re not doing anything wrong is so easy to say. When you have a computer that can do something, you have to do something. But it’s hard to be stubborn about that.
The problem is that for most people, it feels like youre doing something wrong because you know you have to do something. You know you have to do something, but you dont want to do it. And with cybernetics, it feels like youre doing something wrong because youre doing something without thinking.
You know, I said you didnt do anything wrong, I also said you didnt do anything wrong, so I went with your advice.
You cant do X unless you have the will to do it. You dont know what youre doing or you dont know what youre doing, so you cant do it. You cant do anything without thinking, so you cant do anything, so you are doing something incorrect (in the sense that you are doing something that is wrong). And it sounds like you would be the first to agree with that.
The first thing you notice when you think about it is you cant do X unless you have the will to do it. If you cant do X, then your self-control is gone and you have no choice but to do it.

Time is fast, you just have to decide to slow down. The first step to that is to stop and ask yourself, “Am I willing to slow down right now?” We often ask ourselves questions like this when we’re having a hard time with something. We ask ourselves if we are willing to give up on something or give in to something.
For instance, if you can’t take a deep breath, then you’re not willing to let your anxiety die in your lungs. Anxiety can be a killer, but what we do to combat it is to do the opposite of what we fear. Instead of fearing the pain of anxiety, we should fear the pleasure of anxiety. And that’s exactly what we’re doing with time looping.
